During the Loving Kindness exercise I felt relieved and refreshed. I found it to be very effective when trying to calm the mind and body. This exercise, used to relieve anger, can be very beneficial to one’s emotional state. After practicing the exercise a sense of love and passion came through me. It made me realize the importance of kindness and universal love. In the Integral assessment I myself important questions that were crucial for my health development. I found the assignment to be very beneficial to me because it brought up topics that I needed to address. From the assignment I learned a lot about me and my mind. It may seem like I have everything under control, but after doing this assessment I realized that I have areas to focus on. One area of my life that I need to focus on more is the psychospiritual element. I feel this area needs my attention more because it is not as developed as I would like. In order for me to greater develop this area I need to introduce exercises to better develop this area. Practices like loving kindness and using the subtle mind are a couple of ways to expand my mind’s capacity.
